The Walking Dead Cast Keeps Getting Offers
It seems like everyone on The Walking Dead has been asked to play other roles besides their zombie-killing counterparts. Lately, this includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Danai Gurira, and now Ross Marquand.
According to new reports, the actor who plays Aaron is set to play a soldier in the short film, Hajji, which is inspired by true events. The story circles around warfare in the Middle East and is written by R. H. Norman.
The story follows Marquand, along with Shades of Blue actor Dayo Okeniyi.
Entertainment Weekly writes:
“The film is produced by David Lawson Jr. of Snowfort Pictures, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and was drawn to the project by its unique perspective on war.”
“Hajji also stars Maddie Rien, Ray Haratian (Argo), Dajan Ahmad, Bahara Golestani, and Rajeev Chhibber. In addition to producers Okeniyi, Marquand, Lawson, and Norman, the film was produced by Micheline Pitt, Sean McDaniel, Christopher Ely, Damir Omic, and John Thomas Schrad of ReKon Productions.”
“Hajji will begin playing festivals at the start of 2018.”
Aaron’s Role In Rick’s Crew This Season
It’s likely this short has either wrapped already or will wrap soon. If there is additional work on Hajji, it could interfere with Marquand’s schedule on The Walking Dead.
In Season 8, we predict that Aaron’s boyfriend Eric will be killed on the show like he was in the comic. This will drastically change Aaron’s performance this season and may make him more vengeful on the show.
As of now, Marquand’s character Aaron does what he is told and he seems to believe wholeheartedly that whatever Rick Grimes says, is what’s best for everyone. If Eric dies, however, that could change things.
Above all else, we can expect a lot from Marquand this season on The Walking Dead.
Do you think Eric will be killed in Season 8 of The Walking Dead?
