Despite being about zombies and the apocalypse, the bulk of The Walking Dead focuses on a character-driven storyline.

One of the main characters and perhaps the most beloved is Daryl Dixon.

We love to see Daryl take down walkers.

Any character who shows too much mercy or morals seem to quickly die when it comes to The Walking Dead. One of the first characters to bite the bullet was Dale when he got bitten by a walker. Daryl put him out of his misery as he reanimated.

Dale was ripped apart by a walker, but Daryl was there to let him die with dignity.

Despite the functionality (and badassness) of Daryl Dixon’s crossbow, he’s continually proven how tough he can be with or without his bow. This includes fist fights, arrows, guns, and more.

This line originally came from Rick, but it’s clear that since the death of Merle, Daryl’s new brother is Rick Grimes. The two will essentially do anything for one another and Daryl needs Rick as much as Rick needs Daryl.

Everyone really wanted for Daryl and Beth to get together, but unfortunately, she bit the dust before any romance could take place. Essentially, their relationship ended as more of a brother-sister kinship than anything made of romance.

Beyond this relationship, fans have also hoped that Daryl would finally take a chance and go for Carol, but she too seems to be more like a sister or family member for Daryl, despite how much they clearly love one another.

Do you think Daryl will ever find love on The Walking Dead?
