Daryl Dixon Pierced By Arrow

In Season 2’s “Chupacabra,” Daryl was thrown from a horse where an arrow went into his back. The injury wasn’t major, but it did make him hallucinate to a point that he was almost overtaken by walkers.

Daryl Dixon’s Battle Royale

In Season 3’s “Suicide King,” Daryl was captured by the Governor and forced to battle his brother, Merle. Luckily, Maggie and Rick tossed in a smoke bomb to end the madness.

Daryl Dixon Versus Walker Merle

Later, in Season 3’s “This Sorrowful Life,” Daryl has to fight Merle again, but this time Merle is a walker. Because it was difficult to kill his own brother, he couldn’t stand back and end him. Instead, Merle got a little too close and almost ate Daryl.

Daryl Dixon’s Terminus Pig Slaughter

Another close call came in the Season 5 premier, “No Sanctuary.” Along with Bob, Rick, and Glenn, Daryl was tied up hog style to be slaughtered like a pig. Luckily, Carol took out this group and the main players got away.

Daryl Dixon Considers Being A Sacrifice

In Season 5’s “Conquer,” Aaron and Daryl are trapped in a car surrounded by walkers. It looks like Daryl is about to sacrifice himself when Morgan arrives to help out the duo. If Daryl ever does die, it will likely be as a martyr.

Do you think Daryl Dixon will be the final survivor on the show?
