Fans love to hear facts and trivia about their favorite characters from The Walking Dead. In the finale episode, there are actually a few things going on in the background of your favorite scenes.

First of all, Austin Amelio (Dwight), is a little bit like his character, but not in the way you might think. Like Dwight, Austin Amelio actually loves to play chess and often sets up a game off-camera in between takes.

Then, there’s “Uncle Daryl” and the truth about Nabilia.

Fans were shocked to see Nabilia take down a Savior in the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. When the King finally got up the courage to save his flock, Nabilia also got up the courage to punch a bad guy.

Off-screen, some fans may have noticed that Nadine Marissa (Nabilia) is on another iconic AMC series. Marissa had actually been on the series, Better Call Saul, before she landed on The Walking Dead.

Likewise, Jerry (Cooper Andrews) and Dr. Carson (Keith Harris) also come from the show, Halt and Catch Fire on AMC.

Finally, there’s “Uncle Daryl.” According to Talking Dead, the twins that play Baby Judith are named Chloe and Sophia Garcia. These two little girls refer to their favorite actor, Norman Reedus, as “Uncle Daryl.”

More than likely, these are two of the youngest fans of the series. Like many other shows, twins are used to help with child labor laws of keeping children on set. Kids can only be on set for a few hours, so they use twins to get the shots.

Perhaps the most famous twins are the Olsen Twins, as only one was used at a time for the sitcom, Full House. Then again, this isn’t the first time that The Walking Dead has used twins on set.

Not only have they used other twins for Baby Judith, but back when Carol was seeing hallucinations (real people and walker versions), the crew used twins to showcase the two different versions.

What’s your favorite bit of The Walking Dead trivia?
