One of our favorite reoccurring jokes on The Big Bang Theory comes from the ridiculous Sheldon Cooper relationship agreement. Over the years, he’s put Amy Farrah Fowler through the ringer just to be his girlfriend.
Sheldon Cooper penned the 31-page document when Amy and Sheldon tried to make it work in Season 5’s “The Flaming Spittoon Acquisition.” For the most part, the agreement really only benefits Sheldon Cooper.
Regardless, Amy was willing to do anything to land her man.
Sheldon Cooper Relationship Agreement
Over the years, Amy Farrah Fowler has continued to add some romance and other signs of affection to the relationship agreement. But, despite the hand-holding amendments, it’s still mostly for Sheldon’s benefit.
Before she added this amendment, the only time she could hold Sheldon’s hand was if either party were about to fall off a cliff, had just won the Nobel Prize, or if either were upset to get their flu shot.
But now, love is (somewhat) in the air. The big question is whether or not these two will add children to the list.
Will Sheldon and Amy Add Children To The Mix?
In Season 11, Amy Farrah Fowler and Sheldon Cooper are planning for their big day. Earlier in the season, Sheldon Cooper nearly had an ulcer trying to make all of the arrangements, so he’s decided to pass the baton to his fiancé.
Now that they’re planning to get married, it’ll soon be time to rewrite the Relationship Agreement. While Sheldon hasn’t changed too much, it’s possible that he’ll be more loving in this document.
In fact, he should allow for Amy Farrah Fowler to co-write the updated marriage agreement. The big question, of course, will be how she decides to add issues about sexual intercourse and whether or not they’ll soon have children.
Despite how fearful Sheldon Cooper is about sex, the thought of creating another version of himself should be inspiring. Before the series ends, we predict that these two will be discussing babies and their future.
Do you think we’ll see a little Sheldon Cooper junior on The Big Bang Theory?
