“Imagine your best friends working with your worst enemy,” said the voiceover in the newest trailer for Big Bang Theory. “You didn’t tell me we were doing this just to stick it to Sheldon?” asked Barry Kripke, a.k.a. Sheldon Cooper worst enemy.

“I’m messing with you. This Sunday just got a cherry on top!” exclaimed Barry Kripke. In the trailer, Leonard goes on to describe this frenemy relationship is one of the greatest feuds in science.

We don’t see Bert in this trailer, but could this be about the geology project or something new altogether?

The Sheldon Cooper Barry Kripke feud goes back a long way. As Sheldon Cooper worst enemy, Kripke initially arrived with a killer robot. At this point, the dispute was almost more between Howard and Kripke.

Later, the feud resulted in a fight over an office, a series of prank wars, and even a basketball game. Of all of their many arguments over the years, the basketball episode was perhaps the most painful to watch.

After all, neither can shoot hoops.

Prank Wars: Sheldon Vs. Kripke

In one prank, Barry Kripke climbed into a closet near Sheldon’s office and unleashed some helium. While Sheldon Cooper was calling into a radio station, his voice started to get higher and higher due to the helium.

“If you cut that in half,” said Sheldon in a squeaky voice, “…you have two smaller magnets, each with its own north and south poles.” From afar, Kripke laughed as he listened to the radio interview.

Then, Kripke took the radio into the cafeteria so everyone could hear Sheldon’s squeaky, elf-like voice. The interview finally came to a close when Sheldon announced, “Kripke, I found the nozzle. I’m going to kill you!”

For his revenge, Sheldon decided to get some chemicals that would expand within Barry Kripke’s office. However, while watching his plan unfold on a hidden camera, the President of the University and the Board of Directors were with Kripke.

Then, everything went wrong.

What do you think will happen next on The Big Bang Theory for this feud?
