In the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, Raj Koothrappali is in a mess. At first, it looks like he’s found the love of his life. At breaking one morning, however, he quickly discovers that his new love interest is technically still married.
In “The Separation Triangulation,” Raj’s new girl Nell is played by Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls). But, soon after he meets Nell, he also meets Oliver, her husband. Oliver is played by rising star actor Walton Goggins (Vice Principals).
In the end, Raj became better friends with Oliver than with Nell.
The Big Bang Theory, A Love Affair
During the episode, Raj Koothrappali wanted to “finish strong” so he made Nell an excellent breakfast. But, not long after he discovered that Nell had a husband, a stranger arrived at his place of work.
Raj’s new job has provided him with confidence and a place to meet women, but he can also be found by their husbands. At first, Raj thought he could smooth things over, have his cake, and eat it too.
But when he got back with Nell, he couldn’t stop thinking of Oliver. In the end, Raj gave in and the married couple ended up getting back together.
Walton Goggins To Star In Tomb Raider Reboot
Walton Goggins role for Oliver will likely be a one-time gig, but we’re about to see a lot more of this actor. Not only is he one of Tarantino’s regulars now, but he’s also on HBO’s Vice Principals, and he’s just landed in the new Tomb Raider reboot.
After the first Tomb Raider trailer, we couldn’t help but roll our eyes. However, the second trailer looks a lot better. Plus, Walton Goggins appears to be in his element as the shape-shifting “bad guy.”
The reboot is set to come out this March with Oscar winner Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina, Tulip Fever) in the driver’s seat. The new movie appears to have the heart of the original story, but hopefully, Vikander’s version won’t be punching any sharks (via 2001 version with Angelina Jolie).
“Seven years. I’ve been on this island,” said Walton Goggins’ character Mathias Vogel. “Your father. He put me here. Now I see the likeness.” Goggins sounds like a Bond villain in the trailer, so we’re hoping this popcorn flick will be worth a watch.
Are you looking forward to seeing more of Walton Goggins in the near future?
