BREAKING: Devastating Truth Hits TBBT Fandom… Is This It?

Over the past few months, there have been several indicators that The Big Bang Theory will be coming to an end soon. The cast and crew have signed on for Seasons 11 and 12, but that will likely be it for our nerd-like heroes.

First, the showrunner left the series to pursue Young Sheldon, alongside Jim Parsons as producer and narrator. Then, Simon Herlberg and Kaley Cuoco also moved on to create two new shows for themselves.

Finally, Johnn Galecki has agreed to do the Roseanne reboot, which appears to be more than just a cameo.

Johnny Galecki currently stars as Leonard Hofstadter on The Big Bang Theory. After twelve seasons, he’s going to return to the role of David on Roseanne. In the past, he and Darlene were just teenagers who got on Roseanne and Dan’s nerves.

Now, however, they’re going to return as a married couple with two children. John Goodman and Roseanne Barr will also return as the parents. Laurie Metcalf, who currently stars as Sheldon Cooper’s mom, will also reprise the role of Aunt Jackie.

This isn’t the first time Galecki let us know the show may be coming to an end. This all began last September…

Back in September, Johnny Galecki posted an Instagram photo of himself and Kaley Cuoco. In the photo, the two stars were leaned over the railing speaking to the live audience on the CBS lot.

Galecki wrote, “Another blast of a live audience taping tonight on @bigbangtheory_cbs Just a small portion of our gorgeous audience in this shot by @a.ayers10 #cannedlaughtermyass #comeseeus Only a couple handful of episodes left ever.”

The final line, “Only a couple handful of episodes left ever,” is what breaks out hearts. While Kunal Nayyar has simply said they’re shot more than they have left, Galecki makes us believe Season 12 will be the final season.

Of the various new shows from Simon Helberg, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, and Jim Parsons, which are you looking forward to the most?
