The Big Bang Theory Season 11 canceled?!
This has been the breaking news that left millions of fans speechless. While it is not officially confirmed yet, people all over the globe are already comparing this breakup to the end of Friends.
So, as banal as it may sound – the agreements of The Big Bang Theory cast have expired. The future of season 11 is uncertain, according to various sources in the know. In latest days rumors are circulating that the show is most likely getting canceled. One of the main reasons behind the end of The Big Bang Theory is Kaley Cuoco.
From the fans’ sweetheart to the antihero?
While the four geeky scientists have created the humor we love about the show, Penny has given it charm and an unpredictable side. The chemistry of the show works only when these main characters are in place. Otherwise – it is not the same show. This is why, if the rumors are true, some fans may see such a move as a betrayal of the whole saga – The Big Bang Theory has been around since 2007.
Why is she leaving?
The potential reason for this departure might be a very respectable one. Well, at least people will understand the actresses’ position. Kaley may be leaving the show as she seeks to get married and have children, as reported by Morning News USA (and, we can assume, not to Leonard, TBBT fans!).
The 30-year-old actress has been with the show since the very beginning.
Kaley Cuoco continues to be with the show in this 10th season, but now, reportedly, she desires to concentrate on starting a family. In a December cover interview with Women’s Health she discussed that despite her first marriage failed, she still believes in love and union, reported by HNGN. She further said that she wants to get married to her partner in the future as well as to have children. This can be tricky if you’re on a show of such magnitude, as The Big Bang Theory.
The bottom line is – Season 10 is nearly halfway over. There is no news on a renewal.
Further, some rumors suggest that other leading actors – Jim Parson, John Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, Mayim Bialik as well as Simon Helberg, are seeking for improved agreements with the show producers. The show’s 3 key actors (arguably), Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco as well as Johnny Galecki, each require one million dollars per episode. The supporting cast’s wages are in the $900, 000 range each. Now, this definitely rings a bell when you think of it (Friends). With the cost of creating each episode of the show being around $9 million, and taking into account the enormous success it has, the show’s management might still be choosing to go a different way.
The showrunners could be considering the Sheldon Cooper spinoff as The Big Bang Theory’s replacement….
