In the most recent episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon reveals that no one has told him about Bernadette’s pregnancy. After the premiere episode, Howard seems to have accepted the fortune, but soon he cracks down.

After Leonard blows it on public radio, Sheldon is very upset with him. However, Sheldon soon realized that Leonard might be right about their profession. This means that their whole profession is about to lose money for their research.

Together, the two start to sulk; Penny sends in Raj and Howard to cheer them up.

“Physics is exactly like Lost. It starts out great and turns out to be a great big waste of time,” exclaimed Leonard. Then, this ignites Raj to start in on Leonard and tell them to stop their crying.

“Boo-hoo. You know what you sound like? Babies,” said Raj. “Two whiny babies. There is nothing worse than being stuck with two whiny babies.” This is the line that sets in on poor Howard.

“Oh my God, I’m going to have two babies,” sighs Howard from the couch.

To reassure his friend, Raj reminds Howard that babies are great. Unfortunately, this means hurting his ego. “Babies are great. Look at me. I’m never going to have babies. You can’t make a baby watching Netflix with your dog.”

“Thanks for coming,” said Penny after two babies turns into four babies. Penny then reminds the guys that their careers are not wasted and their lives are not in some dead-end.

“You hit a rough patch. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, you need to get up and get inspired,” said Penny. This motivational speech shows a lot of Penny’s character after several seasons where she was getting knocked down.

As an actress, Penny is used to rejection, and the idea of feeling like her life was at a dead-end. Now, after those hits, she knows when and how to get back up. Thanks to her, the group got going in the right direction.

What do you think of Howard meltdown in this episode?
