With rumors circling that The Big Bang Theory will end after Season 12, we’re looking forward to seeing these characters make big moves over the next two years. In the past few episodes, a few of the characters have already gone after their dreams.

In addition to marrying his dream girl, Leonard has also decided that he wanted to write a book. Leonard and Penny made the announcement over dinner and it sounds like the book will be Sherlock Holmes if he were a scientist.

In the most recent episode, Raj and Howard followed their dreams.

Howard And Raj Get The Band Back Together

On the latest The Big Bang Theory, Howard and Raj got the band back together. With songs like “Sherlock Around the Clock,” the band is best at performing for children who are celebrating their Bar Mitzvah.

At first, it looked like Bernie wanted for Howard to spend more time at home. But when he announced he was writing an “astronaut musical,” Mrs. Wolowitz decided he was better off in the band.

With these three pursuing their goals, Sheldon Cooper had to pursue his dreams, too.

Penny And Sheldon Solve String Theory (Kind Of…)

In the latest Big Bang Theory, Sheldon determines that he’s not happy about his current situation. Eventually, Penny tells him that dark matter is his rebound science, while string theory was his true love. “If I’m being honest, I never forgot about string theory.”

In Physics, string theory is basically the theoretical framework where point-like particles of particle physics are replaced by one-dimensional objects, which resemble strings. Basically, it’s about how these strings interact with one another.

But since Einstein couldn’t even figure it out, it makes us wonder if Sheldon Cooper really has a chance. However, based on his first conversation with Penny, he realized that there could be an answer after all.

“There are no knots in four dimensions,” said Sheldon Cooper. “Unless we get around that with sheets.” While Penny and Sheldon didn’t solve everything yet, it’s interesting to know that Sheldon is moving a little closer in the right direction.

In the end, Penny even surprised Leonard and Amy with her knowledge.

What do you think of these guys chasing their big dreams?
