On the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory, we saw Sheldon and Amy take the next step in their relationship. Because what is more of a symbol of domestication than a dinner party? There was a chance for the two of them to work on building their relationship here, while at the same time attempting figure out if this is something that they could continue to do together.
The Situation
Clearly, Amy is enjoying the new living arrangement with her boyfriend and will do just about everything that she can in order to keep the train rolling. This leads directly into the next new episode entitled “The Veracity Elasticity,” which is going to feature Amy taking some drastic measures in order to ensure that the living arrangement lasts. Uh-oh, remember what happened when she got sick?
A Brief Episode Synopsis
In order to continue living with Sheldon, Amy lies to him about repairs being made to her apartment and they host an “on location” episode of “Fun with Flags” in Penny’s apartment. Also, Leonard lets Penny decorate Sheldon’s old room after he learns that she has been secretly moving Leonard’s collectibles into storage.
My Thoughts
Lying is never a good thing in a relationship. Neither is putting your loved one’s cherished possessions in storage. These ladies are in for it. But I’m guessing that some lessons will be learned by the end.
Hopes and Concerns
We’re always going to be down to seeing more “Fun with Flags.” This is one of the show’s best recurring gags, and it’s something that we always love seeing. It’s funny, it’s awkward and it’s informative.
The one thing that we are worried about for Amy is that Sheldon is such a sensitive soul. He is not going to take the truth very well. Besides, no one in a committed relationship likes being lied to. She may be able to explain to him that she lied about the repairs in order to continue being with him, but that may not get her the desired response. Sheldon bases their relationship on trust, after all.
Conclusion
This episode will be aired on the new Thursday time slot. Remember, the show will no longer be aired on Mondays. Are you guys excited about the new episode? Are you guys worried about Sheldon and Amy? I know I am! I don’t think I can handle another Shamy break up.

What about Leonard and Penny? Do you guys think its right of Penny to put Leonard’s things in storage? My fiancé is nerdy too and I would never ask him to do something like that. But, I am nerdy in my own way so I could be biased. What do you guys think?
