The Barenaked Ladies, the Big Bang Theory Theme Song

The Big Bang Theory’s theme song, “the History of Everything,” performed by the Barenaked Ladies seems to pop a lot in news centered on the Big Bang Theory. When you really think about it, it is kind of obvious to see why that is. The theme song is sped up so fast and the images fly by even faster. It’s the perfect kind of introduction to slip in secrets.

You may have already noticed it from watching the intro of the popular sitcom, but if you didn’t, have another look and pay attention to the 11-12 second mark. As mentioned before, the images are flashing by very quickly, so it may be hard to spot. We see a much longer pause take place during a particular image that appears right when they say “we built the pyramids.”

“We built the pyramids” could have had any image of pyramids placed there, but instead they used the pyramid and an eye. That is the symbol of the Illuminati. Is it a coincidence? Or is it more likely that there is something sinister lurking beneath the depths of a Chuck Lorre production? Have you seen Two and a Half Men?

Some people believe that use of The Illuminati “all seeing eye” is popping up more frequently in the modern times. Whether they symbol is popping up in terms of television, music, movies, business, etc., people always seem to find it somewhere. Are these claims accurate or is this just a case of paranoia “big brother is watching you” via 1984?

While I could always be proven wrong by anyone, I urge people to not take things like pop culture too seriously. If you do, it could turn a once pleasant experience sour for you. This idea is actually quite similar to the fan theory that the show is actually about the BBT crew bringing about the end of the world.

Yes, it is fun to theorize about doom and gloom sometimes, but is it likely? Besides, I think an ending like that would be a huge slap in the face to the audience whom have been keeping the show alive for all these years.

But let’s look at this logically. The song is called “The History of Everything.” The Illuminati and the theories surrounding it have been around for centuries. Thus, making the group and theories an important part of the human history. See where I am getting at here? I don’t think the image of the all Seeing Eye was put in the show’s theme to incorporate some secret message. I think the image was put in to merely include something that is a part of history.

But time will tell, if my own theory is correct. If the show does end with the end of the world or some hard hitting evidence is shown, I may change my opinion. If season 10 does prove to be the final season of the iconic sitcom, then we certainly find out the fate of the world soon enough.
