Sadie Robertson On Relationships

Sadie Robertson got personal in a new Youtube video entitled 3 Common Christian Q’s. The Duck Dynasty diva says she gets the same questions over and over while on the Live Original tour, and she wanted to address them all in one place.

One of the big questions Sadie is asked is, “How do you separate time whenever you have a boyfriend, and how do you separate time spending time with him and spending time with God?” Sadie admitted “I really don’t like this question.”

However, Sadie assured her fans it’s okay to have these questions. Despite the fact that it seems so complicated, it’s really not. Sadie says your time with God shouldn’t be separate from anything. Though she encourages her fans to set aside time to study the bible and just focus on God, she implores that this isn’t the only time God is with them. “Your time and God’s time should not be a separate thing,” Sadie said. “When I walk away from this porch, with my time with God, God’s going with me.”

When addressing relationships head-on, Sadie also alluded to the temptations teens can feel. “How do you separate time with your boyfriend and God?” Sadie reiterated, “You don’t. He’s in it. And if he’s not in it, you’re probably going to do something that you probably shouldn’t do.”

Sadie has previously been very open about her decision to wait to have sex til marriage. She told TV Guide, “I don’t really date guys who don’t feel the same way,” Robertson said. “It’s going to be way harder if we went into a relationship having different opinions about that. It’s something a couple really has to decide together.”

Sadie Robertson certainly has an interesting perspective, and she hopes to help teens and young adults all over the world with her message.
