3Imagine this for a second: imagine you’re Sadie Robertson. Picture yourself growing up fame and fortune. How would you respond?

Sadie recently went on the podcast Team Never Quit and talked about this, how and why she never quit. She also talked about how she sometimes wanted to quit…

If I had the cash and amenities that Sadie grew up with, I’d have a tendency to sit back and relax, drive-less, goal-less, and worry-less.

But Sadie — she’s cut from a different cloth.

She said she had plenty of “never quit moments,” but also a lot of moments where she wanted to just quit and live a “normal life.”

“I’ve had a lot of those fear-driven moments because for a long time, I just was totally enslaved to fear,” she said on the podcast. “It was almost like fear would answer the question if I were going to do something or not or if I was going to take an opportunity.”

This is like when she was given the opportunity to go on Dancing With The Stars. She almost turned it down.

“The day I got a call for Dancing With the Stars is probably one of the least confident days I’ve ever had in my life,” she said. “I was thinking — I can’t dance! I can’t go in front of millions of people and dance! What if I get out week one? What if I lose all my friends because I’ll be gone so long?”
