Maggie Greene’s Pregnancy On The Walking Dead

Above all else, Maggie Greene’s role on The Walking Dead is perhaps the most dreary and optimistic. For starters, she’s lost her father, sister, and husband over the years, but she’s also been lucky to become pregnant before Glenn passed away.

During Season 7, Maggie has yet to begin to show, but she has spent some time with the doctors at Hilltop. Now that her doctor has been kidnapped, however, it’s unclear how things will turn out as Rick’s War begins next season.

Maggie’s character still should have plenty of time before the baby arrives, and it’s possible we’ll see a quick time jump like in the comics.

“If we think of the theme of pregnancy, Maggie is a hopeful character and she’s deciding that it’s a good idea to hope that the future world will have a place for her child. I think that’s so important.”

“I think that for the group and what Judith has given us and in the repeated rising from the ashes that we have all experienced up to this point … I think the lesson that I take from character progression and from what we see in the shows is that there will be some breaking that’s inevitable but we do come and we do learn how much deeper is your spiritual connection and those that you love and things like how you decide about that…”

Cohan added, “It’s a horrible crazy world but we have a triumph in the longest because we know who we are and we know who we are to each other.”

All in all, Maggie is going to have to be careful as Rick’s War with Negan gets going and they’ll need to protect Dr. Carson for the sake of the baby.

Do you think Dr. Carson will survive the war and help Maggie deliver her baby?
