Now, granted, Phil was not the most supportive husband and wasn’t the best father. Jase openly states that Phil was a terrible father until Jase himself was about seven years old, that was before Phil became a Christian.

So when his wife was going through excruciating labor pains, he was out on the river fishing.

However, Miss Kay was not alone. Another man in her life who was respectable and loyal was by her side.
