Negan Seems To Have It All
To the untrained eye, it looks like Negan has it all. He’s definitely top dog of the apocalypse, with multiple wives, his own army, a secure place to live, respect and supplies from all-over, and basically whatever he wants at his fingertips.
Inside the Sanctuary, however, things are a little different. From Daryl’s time on the inside, it was clear that only a few people really like Negan and everyone else is just living there out of fear from the unknown.
They feel like that’s the only way to live, but as Sherry said, it’s not living.
Negan’s Saviors Scared To Strike
For viewers, it’s unclear how many of Negan’s Saviors are actually on his side. It looks like there’s actually a silent majority that do not truly like his methods. The bulk of these people simply live in fear under Negan’s thumb.
With that in mind, one has to wonder when these people will rise up and take down the leader of the Saviors. Dwight looks like he’s ready to take down Negan when the time is right and now Eugene is there to watch, think, and provide information.
But it’s unclear when someone will truly strike.
Who Will Unite The “Good” Saviors?
Negan’s sister-wives came up with a small plan, but it backfired when Eugene figured out what they were up to. Similar to Rosita’s bullet and Carl’s machine gun, individuals are not going to be able to take down Negan, it’ll take a team.
Now that Negan killed the doctor, it’s possible that some of the Saviors will finally start to speak up and come up with a plan. If Dwight and Eugene can figure out that they are on the same team, it’ll be time to take down Negan.
The problem, or the delay, is that no one clearly knows who is on whose side. For example, if Eugene were to agree with the wives but then something went wrong, he would have been killed.
The trick will be to figure out who can be trusted within the Sanctuary.
Do you think Eugene and Dwight know they’re on the same team?
