Have you been wondering what will go down in The Big Bang Theory Season 11? Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming season.
The Big Bang Theory Season 11
As The Big Bang Theory Season 11 draws near, fans are becoming more and more anxious. We all want to know how TBBT will do as it surpasses over a decade of episodes.
The most pressing question, of course, is whether or not Sheldon and Amy will be engaged. Season 10 ended with Sheldon on one knee, and we have no idea what Amy responded with. We do know, however, that Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons rehearsed a scene together earlier this week while filming Big Bang Theory Season 11…so at least we know they’re on speaking terms.
We also know that the show has a new showrunner. Steve Molaro has moved over to the show’s spin-off series, Young Sheldon. Replacing him will be Steve Holland. Fans don’t need to worry- this Steve has been writing on the show for many years, so the style and feel most likely won’t change much. We might not have even noticed the change of hands had we not known.
We also know that there may be some cross over between Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory. Chuck Lorre recently stated, “We’re definitely discussing the ripple effect that the shows can have…” Jim Parsons has also said the show will be very cohesive with what Sheldon has already recollected on the series.
Jim Parsons Is Learning From Iain Armitage
While TBBT Season 11 will be exciting to watch, we’re also anxiously awaiting the premiere of Young Sheldon. Recently, Jim Parsons admitted he’s very inspired by Iain Armitage, the nine-year-old actor playing Sheldon Cooper in the series. Jim called Iain “a smart empathetic actor.” Perhaps his performance as Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory will be enriched by the new experience.
