Jim Parsons Spends Birthday Week On TWO Sets

This week on Instagram Jim Parsons was relatively busy. It was his birthday week after all. The TBBT star turned 44 on March 24th and was celebrated by the entire cast.

Each of his friends, including Kaley Cuoco Johnny Galecki and Mayim Bialik, wished Parsons a happy birthday.

Here’s how the star spent the big week.

Jim wrote a lengthy Instagram post commemorating his 44th birthday. Jim took the time to express his gratitude. He’s certainly a blessed man- making over a million dollars an episode and working on many side projects.

He captioned this photo, “Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes! At the risk of sounding cheesy for a moment: I always take such comfort when, as an actor, I am working on my birthday. I imagine most other actors understand this (and maybe EVERYONE understands this, actually) and today was extra special as I got to report to not just one but TWO jobs with such special people at both.”

What were these two jobs Jim Parsons was talking about?

It might be a good idea to assume he’s been working on the Sheldon spin-off series. CBS has hinted that there will be a Sheldon spin-off for a while now. Jim Parsons is said to be producing the project.

This theory is backed up by the fact that Jim tagged Zoe Perry in another Instagram post earlier in the week. Jim wrote, “At work with [Zoe Perry].” Zoe is the daughter of Laurie Metcalf. Laurie plays Jim’s on-screen mother, and Zoe is rumored to be playing a young Sheldon’s mother.

Clearly, the two are already working on the prequel series.

 A Smattering of Love

Jim finished his birthday post by saying, “A smattering of love- shoutouts to…” he then went on to list the accounts of Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Simon Helberg, Brian Posehn, Iain Armitage, and Zoe Perry.

Iain Armitage will be playing a young Sheldon Cooper. It’s exciting to know that production has started for the Sheldon spin-off.
