Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida has always been one of the company’s least popular parks. Which is sad because the park does boast several exciting attractions. In a new effort to attract visitors, Disney is now offering an additional perk to park visitors.

Disney Early Morning Magic

For a limited time, guests can purchase a Disney Early Morning Magic ticket for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney Early Morning Magic experience costs $69, which is on top of the regular admission fee. In addition, reservations for Disney Early Morning Magic are first-come, first-served. Only a limited amount will be available each eligible day. The only day Disney is currently offering the Disney Early Morning Magic tickets is for Saturdays.

So what does that extra $69 get you? Well, first of all, you get to enter the park at 7:45 AM. Since Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t actually open until 9:00 AM, that gives you an extra 75 minutes all to yourself.

Unfortunately, only two of the park’s attractions will be available during that 75-minute period. Star Tours, the Star Wars-themed 3D motion simulator ride, is one of the most popular attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The other option is Toy Story Mania!, the 4D interactive attraction based on the popular Pixar film series.

There are some exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities for Disney Early Morning Magic ticketholders, though. You can goof around with Toy Story‘s Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Or you can pose for photos with Mickey, Minnie, or Olaf from Frozen.

In addition, an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at the ABC Commissary is included. Fortunately, the buffet can be enjoyed until 10:00 AM. That way you can spend your extra 75 minutes with Star Tours, Toy Story Mania!, and the character meet-and-greets.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: A Turbulent History

Many of the major attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have closed in recent years. In fact the park has seen a number of changes and renovations since it opened as Disney-MGM Studios in 1989.

The original icon for the park was the Earfful Tower, a faux water tower with giant Mickey Mouse ears. In 2001, the Sorcerer’s Hat was constructed as the park’s new icon. It was a giant version of the hat Mickey Mouse wears in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice sequence in the movie Fantasia. In 2015, the Sorcerer’s Hat was removed. The Earfful Tower was dismantled in April 2016, leaving the park without a current icon.

There are several exciting new expansions coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, though. In fact, the new areas will not only drastically increase the size of the park, but should be more than enough to attract new visitors.

Star Wars Land

Construction is currently underway on both Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. Star Wars Land will be a completely immersive experience. Visitors will step onto a previously unseen planet in the Star Wars universe. The 14-acre land will feature two new attractions. One ride will allow visitors to fly Han Solo’s prized ship, the Millenium Falcon. The other will represent a dog fight between members of the First Order and the Resistance.

Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land will be an 11-acre addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It will feature an expanded version of Toy Story Mania! and two other attractions. Slinky Dog Dash is a new family-friendly roller coaster. Alien Swirling Saucers is a new attraction themed around The Claw and the Little Green Aliens.
