Willie Robertson’s adoptive daughter, Rebecca, recently celebrated her first anniversary with husband John Reed Loflin. It seems the entire Robertson family remembers the day and week fondly. The Duck Dynasty gang headed to Mexico for the destination wedding.
Willie Robertson’s Adoptive Daughter
Willie Robertson’s adoptive daughter, Rebecca Robertson, was brought into the Robertson family as an exchange student from Taiwan. Korie Robertson remembers, “Now she came to us when she was 16 as an exchange student from Taiwan, did not speak a word of English. I thought, ‘Oh, no, I’ve got like four little kids, like 2 to 6 and now I’ve got a 16-year-old that doesn’t speak English; what am I gonna do?”
However, Rebecca quickly fit into the family and became a key part of the Robertson gang. Though Willie and Korie never officially adopted Rebecca, she is an honorary Robertson and attends all the big family events. She still keeps in touch and visits her birth mother in Taiwan. Sadly her birth father passed away when she was only 11. Korie explained, “Willie walked her down the aisle and was able to wear her dad’s tie as he walked her down the aisle, so that was a really, really special moment.”
First Year Of Marriage
Both Rebecca and John Reed Loflin have enjoyed their first year of marriage. Rebecca runs the Duck and Dressing boutique and website in West Monroe Louisiana. She wrote in an Instagram post, “365 days. Love every single second of being married to you ❤️even if you fall asleep every night before I finish talking.” John Reed posted the same photo in black and white and said, “One year down a lifetime to go.”
Korie Robertson also wished the happy couple a happy anniversary saying, “Happy Anniversary @rebeccalorobertson and @johnreedloflin❤️ I can’t believe it’s been a year since that magical day! I love seeing the way you two laugh and love and am praying God’s best blessings on your marriage today and every day!! Love y’all with all my heart.”
We wish Willie Robertson’s adoptive daughter, Rebecca and her hubby a happy first anniversary.
