Everyone Is Asking This Controversial Question About The Robertsons Right Now

The Robertsons are a tight-knit group. They stick together, they support one another, and their share in each others’ success. However, there’s one thing they don’t seem to be talking about, and that is Phil Robertson’s new show.

In The Woods With Phil is Phil Robertson’s new show with CRTV. The Conservative Review online television network promises the show will be full of Phil’s hard-hitting politics and opinions. They state, “Our culture and values are being overrun and progressives are hell-bent on purging traditional values from media. Phil is a Christian and CRTV is proud to have him proclaim from our platform.”

Phil promises to avoid political correctness at all times. He said, “For far too long we have been told to shut up. No more. Here’s the deal, America. These are my woods. Out here, I call the shots. Out here, we reject political correctness, or as I like to say, ‘pontificated crap.”

The show was apparently the idea of Phil’s son, Alan Robertson. Alan is known as the “beardless brother,” and realized his father’s ability to speak authentically would resonate with a specific audience. In a youtube video, he said, “We had to do a show with Dad where there’s no advertisers or sponsors, cause they just totally shut you down. [They say] ‘Phil’s too controversial.'”

Does The Rest Of The Family Support Him?

One thing missing from In the Woods With Phil’s marketing strategy is the rest of his family. The Robertsons are known to advertise for one another and promote each other’s business endeavors.

For example, in the above Instagram Korie Robertson promotes Missy and Jase’s Robertson’s Mia Moo Fund. Typically the Robertsons stick together and attend media together. They are always each other’s biggest cheerleaders. However, we haven’t seen Willie, Korie, Jase, Missy, or even Jep or Jessica speak out about Phil’s new show.

Perhaps the younger generation of the Robertsons realizes that Phil alienates part of their audiences. After all, with 1.6 million of them, it’s unlikely that all of Korie’s Instagram followers agree with the things Phil has to say. Phil might not want the help of sponsors and advertisers, but the rest of the Robertsons certainly do. Do you think that is why we haven’t seen them out talking about In the Woods With Phil?
