“Rompers for men are a groundbreaking new style in fashion! They’re ‘in’!”
Hold up — rompers?
Yes, that is the new “in” style apparently sweeping the nation. Some people loved it and some people said they are ridiculous, an embarrassment to fashion.
The RompHim™ is a romper like a baby would wear but for full-grown men. It’s a onesie with no legs or sleeves. They were asking for $10,000 on Kickstarter and they raised over a quarter of a million dollars.
But the best take on this piece of clothing has to be from redneck Facebooker Adam Parkins. He decided to review this new fashion look via a Facebook video.
In the video, we see him wearing his wife’s romper, a backwards hat, boots, and many items in the pockets of said romper.
“This, America, is a romper!” he says in a thick Southern accent. “Before you go judging anybody, you should try one on. This thing right here is like the Swiss army knife of clothing, alright?”
He then goes on to explain how in the world he compared a romper to a Swiss army knife. The video involves chewing tobacco, his wallet, an asthma inhaler, and an AR-15.
“Don’t judge me,” he says at the end of the video. “It’s sleeveless, it’s very vented, I feel comfortable. You should try one on, this will be the new style, baby!”
One thing is for sure — no man on Duck Dynasty (or male Duck Dynasty fan) would be caught seriously wearing a romper. Maybe as a joke, but not as a fashion statement.
This video, at this point, is viral. Watch the whole thing below:
