Miss Kay Just Made The Most UNEXPECTED Confession About Phil…

Watching Phil Robertson preach these days, one might assume he was born with a knowledge of God and a belief in Jesus. However, that isn’t quite the case. Miss Kay Robertson explains how she brought her husband to his faith and saved her family in the process.

Miss Kay Suffers Phil Robertson’s Abuse

The Robertson family is known for their fierce Christian faith and family values. Their Duck Dynasty brand is based on a belief in Jesus, forgiveness, and loyalty. However, that hasn’t always been the case.

When Miss Kay and Phil first had Alan Robertson they were going through rough times. Phil was finding solace in alcohol. He had quit his teaching job to manage a bar, and Kay was left to care for their then three children, Alan Willie and Jase. Kay recalls, “I had some abuse there, that was one thing…It was only when he was drunk. The words were the worst, but I’m not saying that he ever didn’t do anything physical.”

Phil became too hard for Kay to handle. In a drunken rage, he accused her of cheating. Kay says, “I completely lost hope…” Thankfully Kay confided in a pastor, who shared the gospel with her. She says, “I knew then that I had help, that he [Jesus] was living in me.”

When Kay first shared her faith with Phil he became outraged and kicked her and their three sons out of the house. She and the boys moved to an apartment and she said, “I told my kids your dad has a good heart, but the devil is controlling him right now…one day the devil will be gone.”

It wasn’t until three months later that Phil came to Kay’s work, with tears rolling down his cheeks. She recalls, “He said, ‘I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. I’ve got to have my family back. I won’t drink anymore, I’m through.'” Kay told Phil he wouldn’t be able to do it by himself.

Phil was introduced to Kay’s pastor, and he was baptized the next day in front of his family. Kay says, “Those little boys were so happy…It was the beginning of the new life, the new Phil.” Phil began to tell everyone he knew about Jesus. He did a complete 360, and it was all thanks to Miss Kay.

It’s truly an incredible story. Thank God Miss Kay stuck with Phil Robertson, and the boys were able to see a God-fearing father.
