Sadie Robertson’s Thoughts on Faith
Sadie Robertson takes after her parents when it comes to talking about her faith. She is outspoken, poised, and steadfast in her belief in Jesus. Here are 8 Sadie Robertson quotes about faith and believing in God.
Her Favorite Bible Verse
Sadie has said her favorite bible verse is Hebrews 10:35-36: Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
She explained why the verse is her go to; “This verse helps me so much in life. Find your confidence in God & never (lose it). He is so good ALL the time.”
Sadie has talked about having friendships rooted in faith on her Instagram account. She said, “A friend with integrity is one who is pure in encouragement. No competition. No behind the back. It’s all out in the open in prayer with the best intentions for one another’s life and a whole lot of laughter. If you don’t have like this friend yet I pray that you are not discouraged, but just completely encouragement in praying that prayer to God tonight. He will provide in the most perfect and unexpected timing.”
On Goal Setting
Sadie has talked a lot about her struggle with not feeling good enough, and having body positivity. “My point is, don’t look at somebody and say, ‘That’s what I want to be,’ because in reality if you’re seeking self-approval or human approval you’re never going to reach your goal,” Robertson said. “You can only reach it by God.”
On Relying On God First
Sadie frequently talks about relying on God over other people. The teen is wise beyond her years.
“You’re never going to be content with who you are unless you allow God to come in,” she said. “I’m not saying that’s what you have to believe, but I’m saying that’s the best option I’ve ever found … Humans have never given me a better comfort zone than what God can give me.”
On Adjusting Your Perspective
“In life, I know you won’t feel great every day—there’s going to be some sweating—but every day you can find something to feel great about. So the next time you feel down or don’t feel like smiling, you might need to challenge yourself to an Attitude Check.”
In her new Live Original promotion, Sadie Robertson prays, “Thank you God for our stories and that we are able to share! AND THANK YOU GOD FOR BREAKING OUR CHAINS so that we can talk about them IN FREEDOM.”
On Her Fame
The entire Robertson family has agreed that their fame has a purpose of propelling God’s word. They aren’t in it for themselves. Sadie expressed this when she said, “I think the key to that is recognizing that it’s not all about me, it’s truly not. God gave me this and this is all about God.”
