The Happy Duck Couple
Rebecca Lo, daughter of Korie and Willie Robertson, is engaged to John Reed Loflin. The couple met in 2014 around Halloween and were dating by Thanksgiving. Rebecca told The Knot that she had been meeting a friend’s friends, and one of them turned out to be Loflin’s sister. The pair dated for a little over a year before Loflin popped the question.
Their Romantic Treasure Hunt
The Boss hog daughter told Entertainment Tonight that the pair often would go on walks on the beach looking for seashells. They called these excursions, “Treasure Hunts.” Robertson described, “We go pretty often, and one of our favorite things to do at the beach is to go treasure hunting — aka looking for shells, and we keep score, too — so we went on what I thought was our typical treasure hunt around sunset.” One particular seashell stuck out, and inside was the engagement ring. Fittingly, the ring is a unique Opal design. It’s perfect for a stylish girl like Rebecca.
A Destination in their Future?

The Duck and Dressing owner has described their nuptial plans as “Beachy, tropical, and relaxed.” This sounds a bit different from the marriages of both John Luke and Reed Robertson. John Luke married Mary Kate McEacharn last June, and Reed married Brighton Thompson late October 2016. Both weddings were rustic outdoor events.
Sherri Hill Designed the Dress
Recently, Rebecca posted to her Instagram account that she had received her dress post-alterations! The dress is designed by family friend and business associate Sherri Hill. Hill had previous collaborated with Sadie Robertson on a prom dress line. Rebecca described the process of designing the dress as fun and family oriented. The women in her family accompanied her.

A Possible Edge
She hinted the dress would be unique and stylish. The bride-to-be shared, “I knew I wanted it to be more of a bohemian style, but after seeing and trying on all of those dresses, my idea definitely changed some!” Rebecca’s style can be described as an edgy LA vibe. Her boutique Duck and Dressing has a country vibe with a hard edge. We’d love to see her in something similar to the store’s aesthetic. Recently Rebecca wore a short lace dress with a high-neck and long sleeves to her wedding shower.

A Family Event
If Robertson and Loflin’s wedding day is anything like previous Duck Dynasty wedding days, there are sure to be a large amount of family there. It seems that there is a tradition of a family member officiating. Willie officiated at John Luke’s wedding, and Jase officiated at Reed’s. The eldest brother, Alan, also officiated onscreen at Kay and Phil’s vow renewal. Perhaps Willie will step up to the plate again to see off his oldest daughter.
There has been no news yet as to whether or not the wedding will be aired on the Duck Dynasty series, but we will keep you posted!
