Willie Robertson is truly the luckiest guy in the world. He gets to share his life with Korie Robertson and we’re here to argue that she is the ultimate mother and wife to her family. Korie couldn’t be more perfect and here’s why.
Willie Robertson Is a Lucky Man
I first laid eyes on @realwilliebosshog in 3rd grade at summer camp and fell instantly in love 😍 (obviously! Look at those dimples) Today he turns 46, my how time flies! Many things have changed…we’ve grown together, have an amazing family, had successes and failures, good times and bad, lived many of our dreams (Willie’s playing in a celebrity golf tournament today on his birthday with Will as his caddy #livingthedream 🙌🏻) and that funny, thoughtful, passionate kid is still right there under that beard. Still loving you, Willie, forever and always. Looking forward to at least 46 more birthdays with you! #happybirthday #willieandkorie
Willie Robertson is a lucky man to have met Korie Robertson so many years ago. The couple got an early start on love. They met in grade school. That’s a whole lot sooner than most. Korie recently shared a snap of Willie and wrote, “I first laid my eyes on [Willie Robertson] in the 3rd grade at summer camp and fell instantly in love…”
Korie describes Willie as funny, thoughtful, and passionate. She’s definitely lucky to have him but we’d argue he’s even luckier to have her. Korie is a woman of strength and dignity. She’s the ultimate example of what a faithful mother, wife, and Jesus follower should look like.
1) Korie Is Tough
Okay this is a two part post because I ran the St Jude Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon today, and I’m thinking that deserves two posts! A quick story: last year I saw this picture of myself after our trip to Macchu Pichu in Peru, we had walked down the mountain really quickly, without stopping so we wouldn’t miss the train and my legs felt like jello, but in the pic I was standing so tall and proud! For some weird reason it was a reminder to me that I can do hard things, and not only that I am capable, but that when I complete something that seems too hard, despite the wobbly legs and sore muscles, and whatever other difficulties I have endured, it feels good, I grow, I gain something I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Well, that picture spurred me on to sign up for this half marathon back in January and today I did it! See next post 🏃♀️
Willie is lucky to have a lady who is so incredibly tough and determined. Most recently Korie demonstrated that endurance in a half marathon. She ran the St Jude Rock n’ Roll half marathon in Nashville. Korie says her motivation to run the race came from an old picture of her climbing on a family vacation to Peru. She said, ” it was a reminder to me that I can do hard things, and not only that I am capable, but that when I complete something that seems too hard, despite the wobbly legs and sore muscles, and whatever other difficulties I have endured, it feels good, I grow, I gain something I wouldn’t have had otherwise.”
Korie has always been involved in physical fitness and she even encourages her husband to join in. Real Duck Dynasty fans remember when she took Willie to her Yoga class. He was in for a treat, not realizing just how hard Yoga can be. It’s important to have a spouse that pushes you to try new things and encourages you to be the best version of yourself you can be.
