Phil Robertson is a protective grandpa, with seriously strict beliefs about marriage, dating, and relationships. However, two of his oldest granddaughters, Sadie and Bella Robertson, have recently been entangled with some seriously famous young men. Does this conservative Grandpa approve?

Bella Robertson’s Prom Date

You might not know who Bella Robertson’s prom date is, but you definitely recognize his mom. Lev Bure is the son of Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ on the hit show Full House, and now reprises her role on Fuller House.

Lev accompanied Bella Robertson to her prom last week, and the families got together for a sweet, celebrity-filled, photo-op. It seems the famous families had a fantastic time getting to know one another. Korie Robertson wrote on Instagram, “@bellarobb you are stunning in every way!! I love watching you shine! You and @levvbure make us mama’s proud. Y’all are too cute! #prom Thank you @candacecbure and #Val for hosting a fun night!”

Bella wore a gorgeous black gown with an A-line skirt and fun floral print. Lev wore a unique plaid printed suit, and matching tie. The cute high-school couple posed in front of their parent’s Los Angeles pool. It’s unclear how these two know each other, but it looks like they had a great time attending the dance.

He’s A Mama’s Boy

One thing that might tip the scales in Lev’s favor when it comes to winning Phil’s approval? He’s a serious Mama’s boy. Phil loves when a man has respect for his family and faith. Earlier this year Lev wrote in a public post, “Mom! I first just need to say thank you. You have literally put your life down for me. You helped, encouraged, cared for, loved, worked, and really done everything for me. I would be nowhere near close to where I am today if it wasn’t for you,” he wrote to his mom.” He’s clearly an appreciative and intellectual individual. However, there’s one more thing Phil Robertson probably likes about Bella’s date…
