Most Disney fairytales tend to end just as the romance between the lead characters begins to blossom. The princess meets her prince, they have a beautiful wedding, and they all live happily ever after. But what comes next? What happens when the prince and princess decide to expand their family and have a baby?
One new artist decided to find out. Isaiah Stephens is an artist from Massachusetts. He created a series of illustrations showing various Disney princesses as mothers. Stephens told Bored Panda, “I’m a 90s kid, so I’m absolutely a Disney princess fan! I think because Disney princesses are so varied, both appearance and personality wise, they are an easy group to garner inspiration from.”

Jasmine

Jasmine’s not quite a mother yet, but she’s well on her way! How great is the look on father-to-be Aladdin’s face? This happy couple seems over the moon about their impending arrival. Little do they know, they’re about to enter a “whole new world” of parenting.
Tiana

Speaking of a whole new world, it looks like Prince Naveen got a lot more than he bargained for with this one! To be fair, this is less of a look at Tiana as a mother, and more of a look at Naveen as a father. Tiana’s have a good laugh at his misfortune, but who can blame her?
Elsa

Like mother, like son. It looks like Elsa’s going to have her hands full with this one! As far as we saw in Frozen, Elsa didn’t develop her ice powers until she was an adolescent. Having a baby around the house with the ability to control ice and snow has got to be exciting. But here’s the bigger question: who’s the father?!
Mulan

Oh boy! Mulan looks like she’s ready to pop any second. In fact, she could even be carrying twins in there! Seriously though, how beautiful is this picture of Li Shang and Mulan? The two look truly in love. Mulan’s face tells you all you need to know about their love and her excitement for their new family member(s).
Rapunzel

Leave it to Flynn Rider! I’m not sure they have the technology to create a gas mask in the world of Tangled, but if they did, you can be sure Eugene would have one. The couple sure did make a cute baby, but if might’ve been even funnier to see her with Rapunzel’s long locks.
Belle

It’s Beauty and the Baby! The only thing that could make this illustration even better would be if Belle had a book in her hand. It’s only natural to imagine Belle taking her new baby for a stroll outside the castle or perhaps around the town. You can almost hear the sweet lullaby she’s singing to her little one as he eats.
