King Ezekiel Is Keeping Secrets
Within their little Utopian Kingdom, King Ezekiel made it clear that he had been keeping the Saviors a secret from his community. This means that none of these people will truly be ready for battle when the Saviors do arrive.
The Kingdom Is Focusing On Camp-Like Skills
In the Easter egg scene from the premiere, the Kingdom showed off his young archers and we also saw some guys in pads running in a military pattern. While these tasks seem meaningful, it looks more like a summer camp than a military post. They should be practicing on moving targets, like the thousands of walkers that still roam around.
The Kingdom Is Full Of Fire-Hazards
During the bedtime story scene, it was clear that the Kingdom is utilizing candles everywhere rather than lanterns. Perhaps these are serving as night lights for the children, but these could be hazards if anyone – or anything – attacks the Kingdom.
The Kingdom Isn’t Utilizing Their Garden
The Pinterest-like filing cabinets for plants are cute, but they’ll need more land (like a stadium) or they’ll need to start planting vertically to really live off their crops (Talking Dead also revealed these plants go to homeless shelters after filming).
The Kingdom Is Trading The Wrong Goods
Despite using walker-meat to fatten the hogs, it’s obvious that meat could be more useful for the Kingdom. Rather than trading their best meat, the Kingdom should consider trading some of their crops and they could even consider brewing beer. Starting a small brewery would be something that the Saviors would really enjoy. Plus, if they got the bulk of the group drunk, they could then attack them in their weakened state.
Do you think the Kingdom will make a mistake that costs others their lives?
