5 Life Lessons You Learned From The Big Bang Theory

Over the past 10 years we have watched The Big Bang Theory religiously. We’ve grown up with these characters, and love them like siblings. Here are 5 life lessons we’ve learned watching Big Bang.

Life Lessons From The Big Bang Theory

  1. Put a ring on it…twice.

Leonard and Penny have taught us that putting a ring on it is a great idea…putting a ring on it twice is even better. Make sure your significant other knows exactly how you feel, and that you profess your love for one another often.

Like Raj says, “You don’t own her. It’s like my girl Beyonce says, if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it.”

2. If at first you don’t succeed…try try again.

Leonard had to fight for Penny, and almost everyone thought it would be totally impossible for him to win her over. If people don’t believe in you, you can totally prove them wrong.

3. Sometimes people grow on you.

Penny definitely didn’t love Sheldon at first. However, after 10 years of learning about each other’s quirks they’ve become strong friends. Get to know someone really well before you completely write them off.

4.You can always improve a classic game.

Sheldon and the gang used creativity to turn a simple game into an epic challenge. Who wouldn’t want to spend their time playing Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock?

Let It Go

5. Finally, there are some things in life you just have to let go. Sheldon has learned over the years that there are many figures of speech, customs, and social construct that don’t necessarily make the most sense. However, sometimes you just have to let it go and move on.

We have to admit, this sandwich thing is still hard for us to wrap out heads around.
