Sean Hannity is fighting-mad and he’s ready to take-on his liberal opponents in a big way. Although, given the recent turmoil at Fox News, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
With the recent departure of fellow pundit Bill O’Reilly and the sudden resignation of Co-President and longtime friend, Bill Shine, it was unlikely that Hannity could be silent any longer.
Hannity threatened recently, to file lawsuits against former Fox contributor, Debbie Schlussel, who made subtle statements alluding that Hannity had sexually harassed her. While Schlussel came out and said that was not what she intended to convey, the damage was already done. One does have to question why she would say anything at all about the incident if she wasn’t trying to smear his reputation.
But, regardless of her reasons, Hannity is following through on his threats. In a released statement, the Fox News host said he “retained a team of some of the finest and toughest lawyers in the country who are now in the process of laying out the legal course of action we will be taking against this individual.”
