2No Mercy
Photo credit: newsinfo.com Very few of our world leaders seem to understand the gravity of the situation with regards to Islamic terrorism. Refusing to acknowledge their quest to establish a global caliphate, they blame the actions of jihadists on climate change, lack of jobs, and oppression. We have seen this willful ignorance spread across Europe, and their “love and tolerance” hasn’t changed a thing. And it never will.
However, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, is not buying the liberal song and dance. He is well aware of just how brutal radical Islamists are, and he knows exactly how to deal with them. Duterte’s orders to his security forces were to “wipe them out completely.” No jail time, no lengthy trial, just total annihilation.
The entire island of Mindanao was placed under the protection of Duterte’s military forces last week after fighting broke out between the military and the Maute and Abu Sayyaf groups. Both of these rebel factions have pledged their allegiance to ISIS. A firefight erupted over the attempted arrest of Abu Sayyaf commander, Isnilon Hapilon.
Following the unrest, Duterte spoke with local media and told them in no uncertain terms that his military had clear instructions for dealing with Islamic terrorists. Their mission was to destroy them by…
