You would be hard pressed to find a state that is facing a higher increase in Obamacare premiums than Pennsylvania. The state is staring at a 53% hike.
Donald Trump told the crowd in King of Prussia, PA they won’t have to wait long for a complete repeal and replacement of Obamacare.
Trump Vowed Not to Waste Any Time on Dismantling the Signature Legislation of the Obama Era
“When we win on November 8th and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. Have to do it. I will ask Congress to convene a special session so we can repeal and replace,” he said, “And it will be such an honor for me, for you and for everybody in this country because Obamacare has to be replaced. And we will do it, and we will do it very, very quickly. It is a catastrophe.”
Trump went on to say that with Clinton we’ll get “more of the same” as the last 2 terms of Obama.
“More taxes, more spending, more regulation and more Obamacare. I mean, we can’t trust Hillary Clinton with our health care any more than we can trust her with classified information.”
Trump Has Pledged to Replace Obamacare with His Own Plan
Many Republican ideas that have fallen on deaf democratic ears will be implemented in the Trump plan:
- Allowing insurance to be bought and sold across state lines
- Encouraging and rewarding health savings accounts
- Making premiums tax deductible

Trump Told the Crowd That Today Is Open Enrollment in Obamacare Exchanges
Obamacare is a catastrophe,” he said. “The president said if you like your plan you can keep your plan, if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor — which may go down as one of the great political lies of the century. Even the skeptical Democrats believed him and approved the legislation. … No one ever read … the 2,700-page bill.”
“And once again, millions of Americans are going to be disappointed by their lack of options, and, frankly, they’re going to be shocked by the high premiums and the cost of health insurance,” Pence said. This government takeover of health care that we call Obamacare is failing in states across America as it is here in Pennsylvania and the case has never been stronger for repeal.”
No doubt the Obama administration is going to do everything within its power to get Hillary elected. If they succeed Obamacare will remain an albatross around America’s neck as premiums continue to skyrocket. It is, after all, his legacy.
