Jay Z, De Niro, and Stephen Colbert are just few of the names that were against Trump during the election. Stephen Colbert is still using every chance to trash the new elected President on his talk show.

But that didn’t stop Trump from winning the election, and won’t stop him from making America great again as well. But who needs De Niro or the rest of the celebrity liberal pack, when Jeff Bridges is rooting for you?

“One of the things that’s most appealing about [Trump] is his unpredictability. A less kind word might be his hypocrisy, but unpredictability and hypocrisy are things that each of us human beings share. It’s something we all struggle with and work with. I was pleased to hear his acceptance speech,” said Bridges.

The 66-year-old actor talked about Trump and why people were disappointed in the government, during a brief conversation with Entertainment Weekly.

“Taken out of context, that would be wonderful. Talking about unpredictability, who would have thought that he would be praising Hillary Clinton and thanking her for her wonderful work after trashing her and inviting all of the people who didn’t vote for him, that he’d be looking for guidance from these people, all of these wonderful things? I’m rooting for the guy, but we’ll see how it all goes. You just don’t know how it will all work out.” – Source.

Protecting Trump is Costly

Donald Trump was a celebrity even before he got elected. Protecting him won’t be an easy mission for the Secret Service, but until his 10-year-old son, Barron, finishes the school year, Trump and his wife, Melania, have decided it’s best for Mom and son to remain home at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. This makes things a bit more complicated for the Secret Service, tasked with their protection as well.

Trump’s adult children and his grandchildren also live in the city, so they’re all entitled to receive Secret Service protection. Protecting the Trump clan is costly, although necessary — as it’s been for every U.S. presidential family before them.

“The number one imperative here is safety and security. We owe that to the President-elect, his family, and his team,” said New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.

New York is familiar with the task of protecting world leaders. City records show it received $500,000 a week for such expenses in the 12 months ending June 30, 2016. “But protecting Trump will probably be a bigger challenge,” de Blasio said.

“This makes [previous protection efforts] look quite small obviously,” he said. “We’ll have to establish a new set of ground rules.”
