Donald J Trump would like to have congressional term limits.  During a speech at Colorado Springs he said, “The time for congressional term limits has finally arrived.  Not only will it end our government corruption, but we will end the economic stagnation that we are in right now.”

Then at a second rally in Colorado, Trump elaborated by saying that the limits would fall at around 3 terms or six years for House lawmakers, and then 12 year, two terms for senators.  He made these statements as he stayed strong and didn’t comment to Obama’s advice of “stop whining” about the election being rigged.  So, he didn’t and instead focused on his message.

Dealing with Hillary

Well, he did whine a little by failing to acknowledge the polls putting Hillary way above him in Colorado and other important states.  Meanwhile, he made fun of Hillary Clinton’s health.  To a booing crowd he said, “As WikiLeaks proved, the media really is just an extension of the Clinton campaign.  The press has created a rigged system and poisoned the mind of so many of our voters. They have rigged it from the beginning by telling totally false stories, most recently about phony allegations, where I have been under constant attack.”

Trump also mentioned that he thinks the election will be “stolen” with voter fraud.  Some sources are warping it to saying that it’s the black community to blame.  However, he simply said big cities like Philadelphia.  Specifically, he said, “Voter fraud is all too common, and then they criticize us for saying that.  But take a look at Philadelphia, what’s been going on. Take a look at Chicago. Take a look at St. Louis. Take a look at some of these cities, where you see things happening that are horrendous.  And if you talk about it, they say bad things about you, they call you a racist.”

At one point, Trump was right there in the polls with Hillary Clinton, but he’s fallen far behind at 11 points in the state.  He’s at about 38 to 46 percent.  Trump once loved the polls.  Now he doesn’t like them: “Even though we’re doing pretty well in the polls, I don’t believe the polls anymore, I don’t believe them.  Believe me, folks, we’re doing great.”

Trump is relying on his supporters now to get him through.  He’s been rallying in mostly Republican areas and abandoning those hard-to-get demographics.  However, he is determined to win over the Hispanics in those Republican areas who could very well get him through the elections.  Still, the gender gap and suburban woman just outside of Denver are giving him trouble in Colorado.

Trump put in $1.9 million into TV ads in Colorado and then another $2.5 million for Election Day.  The NRA threw in 3/4 of a million more.  Clinton only put in $2 million into the state.  Her super PAC put in $6 million, and $1 million is going to Election Day.

Trump has adopted the mantra, “Forget the press. Read the internet. Study other things.  Don’t go for the mainstream media.”  This is the best advice he can give.
