As of the day this article is being written (September 26, 2016), the second episode of the tenth season of the Big Bang Theory will be airing tonight. Tonight’s episode is called the Military Miniaturization. But what if I told you that I have a few spoilers for the third episode, the Dependence Transcendence? So, be warned. If you don’t want spoilers, don’t read further.

First a little recap…

As mentioned in a previous article about the Military Miniaturization, Colonel Williams, who is an Air Force representative from the Department of Material Command, sits down to have a talk with Howard. The Colonel ends up giving Howard, Sheldon, and Leonard a “top secret assignment.” Unfortunately, poor Raj is left out.

The Basics

On October 3rd when the Dependence Transcendence airs, tensions will rise when the boys struggle to complete their government project on time. Sheldon tries an energy drink to stay awake, which will probably be hilarious. Penny and Amy go to a “party” at Bert (Brian Posehn) the geologist’s house and Raj learns Bernadette’s true feelings about her pregnancy when they clean out the future baby room. Sounds like a lot of drama on the girls’ side of things.

Flash!

But there is something extra special about this episode. It has to do with Sheldon. You know how in a lot of episodes Sheldon wears some kind of Flash symbol on his shirt? Well, the Flash is going to be in this episode, so to speak. Sounds like a pretty big Sheldon geek out will be happening.

In addition to that, there will be another special scene with Sheldon. But this one will be more of a touching nature. Sheldon will really be showing a more vulnerable side.
The Amy and Penny plotline promises for some big laughs, as well as some interesting information about Amy and Sheldon revealed.

Baby Pains

In the Raj and Bernadette storyline, Raj wants to go shopping for the baby, buy pretzels and get “some side looks from racist women working in the stores.” Ha. But Bernadette says she’s taken care of things of that nature. After some hesitation from Bernadette, they decide to clean the baby’s room. Which leads to Bernadette having to face how she really feels about the whole thing.

Conclusion

On top of some laughs and lightheartedness, it seems like we also get to see some characters go through some vulnerable periods. I’m especially anxious to see how the Walowitz baby story will play out in the future. How do you think Howard will take on fatherhood? I’m just glad that since Raj is left out of the group project, he at least gets to bond with Bernadette. Maybe the baby will eventually call him “Uncle Raj.”

I’m sure that if you read this, you actually wanted to see the spoilers. However, I hope I didn’t give too much away. Spoilers are good up to a point. But you don’t want to completely shatter the viewing experience. Comment and let us know your thoughts on the information given.
