The feud between uber-liberal comedienne, Rosie O’Donnell, and President Trump is very well-known. O’Donnell, a Refuse Fascism supporter, has never been afraid to share her hatred for the president on social media. But her latest, and by far most despicable, rant is way over the line.
Trump started a media firestorm on Wednesday, tweeting videos about Islamic terrorism. However, it was his comments on Matt Lauer’s termination from NBC that sent Rosie into a downward tailspin.
“Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,” Trump tweeted. “But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!”
Obviously bothered specifically by the inappropriate sexual behavior portion of the tweet, O’Donnell responded. Her two-word message, “glass houses,” wasn’t a big deal.
Nevertheless, the image and hashtag that accompanied the post are a different story. Her tweet came with the hashtag #trumpRAPES and included a picture of President Trump’s original tweet. Across the picture, in blood-red letters, is the phrase “child rapist.”

This is a new low, at least it is by any reasonable person’s standards. Unfortunately, we aren’t dealing with reasonable people. It’s completely illogical and defamatory to say that President Trump is a rapist.
That being said, what is most ironic is that O’Donnell is a member of the party claiming Trump is mentally unwell. If that’s not the “pot calling the kettle black,” we don’t know what is. Even worse, is the fact they don’t see it. Or more likely, they don’t care.
Sadly, despite likely being her worst, it’s not Rosie’s first. She has attacked both members of Trump’s administration and his family. Although, she does seem to have an odd obsession with First Daughter Ivanka Trump.
In the past, O’Donnell has threatened White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and called Barron Trump “autistic.” She later publicly apologized to First Lady Melania for her “insensitive” remarks.
