The Rock Shows How To Be The Most Productive With Siri

The Rock is known for his hustle. Somehow, he’s in several major blockbusters each year while filming the show Ballers on HBO. If he were only doing one of these things, it would be impressive, but he’s literally doing it all.

If you’re one of the 90 million-plus who follow Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on Instagram, it’s clear his work ethic comes from something he likes to call Anchor Fitness. Essentially, he hits the gym as scheduled, no matter what.

In this Rock x Siri ad from Apple, they stretch the limits of what a person could hypothetically do in a single day. It stretches the beliefs a little like the Ed Norton Droid, 48 Hours TV Commercial from a few years ago (watch here), but focused on productivity rather than action.

CNBC writes:

“Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. His latest co-star, Apple’s Siri voice assistant, is a relative newcomer to the big screen.“

“Johnson, a former wrestling superstar, teamed up with Apple for a new commercial which was released on Monday. “The Rock x Siri Dominate The Day” sees Johnson hail a Lyft car, travel to Rome, take a selfie in space, and then turn up for a film shoot, all with the help of Apple’s voice assistant on an iPhone 7.”

4-Minute, Viral Spot From Apple

Adweek writes:

“With this nearly 4-minute spot, the irrepressible and seemingly inexhaustible Johnson does what he’s done for dozens of action movies: take a nonsensical plot and give it pizzazz, selling you on taking a ride with his winning smile and chipper spirit.”

“Only this time, he’s also selling you on using Siri. If you’ve read GQ’s recent cover story about Johnson (titled “The Rock for President”), it’s even easier to imagine how this high-energy effort came about and how game Johnson probably was from concept to shoot to promotion.”
