How does a 12-year-old that gets bullied get the last laugh?

Well, by running for president for one thing. But before he does, he’s doing his best to get Donald Trump elected.

Laurel Imer is the West Denver Field Coordinator for the Trump campaign. In a recent interview, she told KDVR News she is delegating responsibility to her son Weston. There are several reports stating that is he is coordinating volunteers. It’s his ambition to lead the office. While rumors swirl that he is, in fact, running the office now– the adults in charge deny it.Donald Trump

From The Huffington Post

“Weston appears to defer to his mother, and isn’t running the office alone. In an interview with a radio show, “Rush to Reason,” published on July 7, he said he was “co-chair for the Jefferson County Trump campaign, underneath her.”

“The host was surprised by Weston’s age when he called in.

“Hi mom!” he said.

“Sorry! I thought this was a sir!” a host said, adding, “You’re just young … OK, I get it now.”

Weston told him, “It’s OK, I get it a lot.”

“He went on to explain he is also in charge of Colorado Kids for Trump, a group for children, particularly those who are “bullied at school because … they like Trump.” He noted that he has been “bullied a lot” for that reason.”

Weston got to meet Trump’s running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence backstage at a  town hall earlier this month. It gave the young politician a chance to question Pence’s stance on Common Core’s education standards. Reports are that the boy gave the nominee his information, and in turn Gov. Pence assured the young republican that he and Donald Trump would be in contact with him as soon as possible. The boy is said to muse, that now he had to remember to take his phone off of silent.

It’s telling that in the same Huffington Post article that shows how a kid that gets bullied at school is doing something so positive as to stand up for his beliefs by getting involved in the adult world of politics–striving to make a difference even when he isn’t old enough to vote. That rather than highlight what inspires him about Trump, instead they end the piece with this Editor’s Note: “Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

Oblivious to the fact that unsubstantiated rhetoric such as this editor’s note is the media is churning out perpetual lies and are responsible for inciting the violence at the Trump rallies–that has filtered down to this boy on the playground level.
