Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are reuniting in 2017, falling in love all over again.
They originally fell in love during McGraw’s 1996 Spontaneous Combustion tour where Hill was the opener. Later that year, they got married. Now, two days before their 20th wedding anniversary, they’ve announced that they’ll be touring together again.
Tuesday night (October 4) during a show, the two unveiled their plans to tour together on the Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017, the first time they will tour together in 10 years. Indeed, that tour a decade ago was the second version of the Soul2Soul tour in 2006 and 2007. Truly, it was the highest-grossing, multi-year country tour ever. So why not bring it back?
The concert on October 4 was actually listed as a Sam & Audrey concert, which got fans wondering if it might be a McGraw and Hill concert. In addition, NBC showed a TV spot halfway through The Voice, which further interested McGraw/Hill fans.
Speaking of The Voice, that Tuesday night is when they announced the couple would be the first duo to be key advisers on the show. They’ll ultimately prep contestants of the show in the episodes airing in October.
After all, on Wednesday (October 5), both McGraw and Hill will enter Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.
