Mayim Bialik has been prescribed total vocal rest by her doctors, who fear she has done permanent damage to her vocal chords.
Fans are worried- will she be appearing at Comic Con 2017 as planned?
Big Bang Theory At Comic Con 2017
The Big Bang Theory cast is set to appear at San Diego Comic Con 2017. Kaley Cuoco posted a throwback photo of the group to announce the event last week. The star wrote, “[Flash back Friday] to our first appearance at comic con 10ish years ago. We had no idea what to expect or what [Big Bang Theory] would become. We had an incredible experience and I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be back this year…”
Set to appear with Cuoco are Kevin Sussman, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik. However, fans are concerned that both Johnny Galecki and Mayim may not be able to appear after all.
Johnny Galecki’s house was recently destroyed due to a raging wildfire north of Los Angeles. Johnny has taken to social media to thank the firefighters on site saying, “Thank you to the brothers and sisters of [Cal Fire]. It is the profound risks that you accept and the sacrifices you and your families make that keep us safe.” It appears Johnny is in high spirits, but with repairs to be made to a completely destroyed house, we wonder if he’ll be able to go to comic con.
Also in limbo is Mayim Bialik, who recently announced that she has been put on 30 days of total vocal rest. Fans are worried Mayim won’t be able to speak at comic con, but it seems the actress is still planning on continuing her work as planned. She’s even been making her youtube videos, with the help of friends.
It’s Been Done Before
We aren’t really worried about Mayim and Johnny not showing up at Comic Con. The Big Bang Theory cast cares fiercely about their fans, and would never intentionally let them down. Jim Parsons even went so far as to video chat in back in 2012. Perhaps Mayim will come up with some sort of subtitles or interpreter for her.
Will you be attending Comic Con 2017, to see the Big Bang Theory cast speak?
