Skybound just released a special preview of an upcoming comic where it looks like Michonne is about to venture into uncharted territory. The comic is ahead of the series, so if you’re not caught up, potential spoilers await…

“Since we’re at the edge of the city. I want to try something,” said Michonne. “Be ready to ride off as fast as you can if need be… Okay?” Skybound is apparently going to introduce something completely new to the world of the undead.

The comic is set to hit stores early in September.

New Characters And New Locations

Comic Book writes:

“We have a new character, new location, and more coming your way,” the Skybound post reads. Based on the cover for issue #171, the “Princess” referenced in the issue’s title will be the new character and one which has been living a drastically different lifestyle than Michonne’s group.”

“Whether or not she is the same person Eugene has been talking to over the radio is unknown and also unlikely considering the distance between Pittsburgh and Ohio. When issue #170 left off, Eugene and Siddiq were ready to duke it out when the latter dropped a bombshell prompting speculation he was the father of Rosita’s unborn child.”

“Based on the last panel of the preview for issue #171, it appears Eugene will still be holding on to some of the rage spawning from the knowledge of Siddiq and Rosita’s relationship.”

Catching Up With The Comic Book

As for the show, we’re about to enter Rick and Negan’s All Out War. Since the two aren’t exactly the same, there are several differences between the comic book story and the television adaptation.

In October, we predict that Rick Grimes will attack Negan first, especially after the first initial attack in Alexandria where Negan had threatened to kill Carl Grimes. Now it’s Rick’s turn to strike back.
