The Walking Dead Season 8 trailer just hit Comic Con in San Diego and there are a lot of predictions that can be made based on the trailer, the comic book, and some other online fan prediction after Season 7 of the AMC series.

As such, as have “21 Predictions for Season 8 On The Walking Dead” based on the initial trailer from Comic Con. In one shot, when we see the King and his men in the woods, it looks like he’s planning a sneak attack.

This could mean bad news for Jerry, though.

Planning For War During Peacetime

If you look closely, these men and women who surround the King appear to only be made up of Kingdommers. In other shots, when Rick is giving a speech near their new barricade, the group is mixed, but here we only see the King’s followers.

Whether or not he’s in cahoots with Rick Grimes, it appears that the Kingdommers are preparing to sneak up on the Saviors. Based on their interactions, the King may know their route and movements better than anyone else.

After all, he always wanted peace, but likely planned for war.

Will Jerry Die During The King’s Attack?

In another scene, however, it looks like the Kingdom fighters get into more trouble than they can handle. We see the King, with his men, firing at someone out in the woods that is likely the Saviors, or maybe even the Heapsters.

In another shot, we see a moment in time where the King and Jerry appear to be trapped or surrounded. Due to this shot, it’s possible that Jerry could die or sacrifice himself for the greater good.

There’s a not a lot more information here, but Jerry is the kind of person, like Benjamin last season, who could die as a martyr and the others would want to fight harder and smarter in memory of him. If not Jerry, then perhaps Shiva…

Do you think something bad will happen when the Kingdom attacks?
