Everyone Thinks Carol Might Do This Next…

While everyone else in the Kingdom mourns, Carol Peletier cleans her gun. At a picnic table in the middle of the community, she mentally and physically prepares to stick to the plan. Meanwhile, the others create a wall of mourning. But, she’s not the only Kingdommer ready to fight.

In the middle of the episode, we see a familiar scene as Carol walks through the woods alone. Like before, when Benjamin snuck up on her, she has now ran into his little brother Henry outside of the Kingdom.

With a few swings, little Henry tries to fight off two walkers when a gunshot stops him.

“Do you know what happens to kids when they go wandering around in the woods? They never get seen again and if they do, they’re monsters,” said Carol. In his pads, Henry listens to this angry woman while thinking about his deceased brother.

“You need fighters, so I’m fighting,” said the boy. “Just now – were you going to go back to the Saviors place by yourself? Let me help you. I have to get the guys who killed my brother,” he said.

After a short beat, Carol said, “You can’t just walk around with that stick…”

While it’s unclear how Henry might be able to help Carol in an upcoming episode, it’s likely she’ll use him as a sort of lookout. Gun in hand, he follows her into the great unknown, hoping to avenge his fallen brother.

“I watched you train people,” said Henry, in regards to using the gun. While using and watching are two very different things, it’s better for Carol to have someone watching her back rather than going in alone.

More than likely, Carol will run into Daryl Dixon and his new troops near the Sanctuary. While Carol and Henry head that way, it would appear that Daryl, Tara, Rosita, and Michonne are already outside of the Sanctuary.

Meanwhile, the big question for the Kingdommers is whether or not King Ezekiel will stop sulking and get back to his role as a leader. As we’ve seen in Jerry, the Kingdommers do not know what to do without him.

What do you think of all of these new alliances on The Walking Dead?
