5 Characters We Wish The Walking Dead Didn’t Kill Off

There are lots of characters that have to die on The Walking Dead, but Shane Walsh was one of the first unfortunate souls to go. Sure, this helped Rick’s character grow, but if Shane had split up the group instead, it would have been nice to see where he would have gone next (maybe even ended up with Negan somehow?).

Beth wasn’t necessarily the best character on the show, but she was the closest thing we’ve seen to a love interest for Daryl Dixon. It would also be nice if Beth was around for Maggie, since she’s now lost her father and her husband.

The Wolves

Not all of our favorite characters are good guys. The Wolves were very interesting. The leader of the group definitely had to go, but Denise seemed to turn one of them good and the others were super interesting as characters. It would be nice to see what they were doing next.

Actor Michael Cudlitz has said that he’s happy with the way his character died, but he’s certainly someone we’re going to miss. Abraham, in a way, was the comic relief in some pretty tense moments. He was also the only thing that kept Eugene on the side of the good guys (apparently).

Glenn Rhee

Finally, there’s Glenn Rhee. Fans were very upset that his character had to go, especially the way it happened. In reality, however, all of these deaths were deaths that basically had to happen for the show to progress.

As Robert Kirkman has said, no one on the show is safe. This even includes Daryl Dixon and Rick Grimes. If either of these characters die, however, the Internet will likely explode so let’s hope it doesn’t happen anytime soon.

Who else do you wish was still around on The Walking Dead?
