This all changed when he first read a script for The Big Bang Theory. After reading the pilot, he felt a connection to Sheldon Cooper because he felt the writers “brilliantly use those words that most of us don’t recognize to create that rhythm. The rhythm got me,” said the actor.

It wasn’t until 2007 that Jim Parsons finally landed a role that would send her a massive income, but The Big Bang Theory did just that.

According to online sources, Parsons is now worth around $70 million and his rate-per-episode has grown from $60,000 per episode to a whopping $1 million per episode.
