The long drawn out saga of whether or not The Big Bang Theory will be renewed has exhausted TBBT fans of all of their emotions. It seems each week we get a little tease of new information, but never a concrete confirmation.
However, this new improvement of information can almost guarantee there will be a TBBT Season 11.
Here’s what we’ve learned.
CEO Speaks Out
CBS CEO Les Moonves has said that the show’s renewal, “Is on the two-yard line.” according to Deadline. Moonves made the comments at a meeting for investors in the network. For months we’ve been hearing that actors were in negotiation meetings and that CBS was worried about the production cost of each episode.

This means we are so close to a renewal. Recently it has been reported that the TBBT actors Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg had all banded together to pledge a pay decrease in order to ensure Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch would get a raise. It’s assumed that the two actresses were holding up negotiations because they are being paid way less than the other five actors. Both Mayim and Melissa came to the show in season 3, and have never closed the wage gap between themselves and the original cast.

The pledge for a pay cut is a testament to how much these actors love each other, and want the show to continue. Jim Parsons has been quoted saying, “If the opportunity to go past Season 10 came up, I’d be very hard-pressed to tell you who [among the cast] might say no — if anybody would.
