That’s why lottery winners become depressed. It’s a contributing factor to celebrities dying by suicide.

So, when the Robertsons became stars from A&E’s Duck Dynasty, these things were creeping nearby, ready to pounce. Was it all worth it?

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander, has given a candid insight into the dangers of fame and stardom in a recent interview.

“Doing TV and all the fame that comes with it can start tearing families apart,” he told Parade

There’s more going on behind the scenes. Fame can tear apart even the strongest of bonds. Is that the case with the Robertsons? We hope not. 

However, Willie also says that also because they film so much, they’re actually together more often.

A surprising upside to upside to putting their lives on reality TV?

As the CEO, Willie traveled many lonely roads a lot before the show… but as a TV star, he and his family spend a lot of time on set.

While Willie says fame can have it’s effects, he also discussed how the family has strived to stay true to themselves while being on the public stage… 

A message fans needed to hear.

“Nobody lets each other get a big head,” he said. 

Even if he doesn’t have a big head, Willie can barely go anywhere without being recognized…
